Our Symposium
Learn more about us

The TTSH–World Urology Symposium Series is an international academic platform established by the Department of Urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital to advance urologic care through collaboration, innovation and research. Launched in 2023 with the inaugural TTSH–World Prostate Cancer Symposium, the series brings together clinicians, researchers, educators, healthcare innovators, industry partners and patient advocates from Singapore and around the world to exchange knowledge and translate new ideas into better outcomes for patients.
The identity of the symposium is reflected in its logo. The bridge between TTSH and the World symbolises our role in connecting TTSH Urology with the global urology community through academic collaboration, clinical research, surgical education and innovation. The globe and aircraft represent the international exchange of people, expertise and ideas, while the scientific helix reflects discovery and progress. The urinary tract imagery anchors the series firmly within the specialty of urology. Together, these elements express our enduring purpose: Advancing Urology Through Collaboration, Innovation and Research.

The second meeting in the series, the 2026 TTSH–World Kidney & Testicular Cancer Symposium, will be held on 25–26 September 2026 at the Centre for Healthcare Innovation, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Guided by the theme “Pioneering Surgical Innovation. Advancing Cancer Care. Empowering Survivors.”, the programme will feature international faculty, multidisciplinary case discussions, keynote lectures, surgical innovation sessions and hands-on training, with a strong focus on translating evidence into meaningful improvements in clinical practice.
A defining feature of the 2026 symposium is its emphasis on collaboration across disciplines and on the voices of patients and survivors. Through the Cancer Survivorship Assembly: United Against Cancer, the meeting will bring together survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals and community partners, recognising that cancer care extends beyond treatment to recovery, quality of life and long-term support. Organised by the Department of Urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, the symposium reflects our shared commitment to academic medicine, innovation and patient-centred care in Singapore, the region and beyond.
